Apple harvesting...very delicate work!
You must turn your wrist upwards and not pull the apple in order to allow the bud to produce a new apple next year. The pickers have picking bags to pick as many apples as possible without damaging them. Subsequently, the apples are delicately placed in large wooden chests called “bins”. These skips are then transported by tractor. In our orchard, apples are reserved for: self-picking by the public the manufacture of cider and must and the sale of apples at our store We store the apples in controlled atmosphere refrigerators so that we can sell them all year round in stores and that they are always just as fresh and crunchy!
