Tasting Note
Picked fresh in the fall, the apples for our strong still cider are pressed right away. A long fermentation allows the cider to develop an aromatic complexity that reveals hazelnut notes. Ideal for those who prefer a richer cider, without the liveliness of bubbles. Perfect to serve alongside your cheese fondues, gratins, or terrines.
Le Costaud, is in honor of our great-grand-father Petit and here is the story that is told:
A true force of nature, our great-grandfather would have cleared the
land of the orchard with his own hands and this, in one morning. A colossal work that is still being reaped today.
