Tasting Note
Selected apples are picked fresh and pressed after the Fall harvest. This cider is produced from a single fermentation and aged to develop more aroma. This Cider has a beautiful hay-yellow with discreet golden rays. The aging period confers a light nose revealing fresh apples and a touch of wild berries. For the taste, a frank and delicate apple taste.
La Vlimeuse, is in honor of our grandmother Petit and here is the story that is told:
Grandma Petit was once the official taster of the cider factory. Every year, she invited the women of the village for an festive evening. It is said that during a particularly lively dance party, they would have swiged so vigorously that even the apples would have started to fall.
