Tasting Note

Picked fresh in the fall, the apples are pressed right away. A best-seller at the cider house, La Fameuse has a rosé hue, as it is made from Geneva apples, known for their pink-colored flesh. With a surprising liveliness and freshness, this cider has won several gold medals at the national competition of La Coupe des Nations. On the palate, its effervescence lingers, giving way to a final touch of red berries. Perfect for sipping as an aperitif, or to pair with brunches, tapas, cheeses, and salads.

La Fameuse, is in honor of our mother Petit and here is the story that is told:

Lively and passionate, our mother is known for moving air. She would have met her equal on an autumn evening, as a historic tornado was moving directly torwards Saint-Hilaire. Without hesitation, she would have rushed to her beloved apple trees and held them until the storm had passed.
